HIRI is a young Māori musician and producer currently residing in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland, NZ.) Active as an artist since 2023, HIRI has become omnipresent amongst gig scenes and digital spaces alike, receiving over 110k cumulative streams and touring throughout NZ. Their sonnets interweave genres like indie, rock and pop to create a fluid creative sound that evolves as they learn.
After a successful album release in 2024 and a Taite’s Music Award nomination in 2025, HIRI has continued to gain a following thanks to their mission- bringing Te Reo Māori forward in the music space.
